If you are looking for a place to crash before your flight, this place will offer the bed you need for it, even though it’s not the most esthetic place (it has some little details that could be better) like adding some soap, & shampoo, maybe a hairdryer and include some sort of organization in the fridges so it looks more clean and organized. I was there for thanksgiving and a guest had the kindness to cook a meal for everyone Thank you! And there is a kitty cat 🐈‍⬛ The place served my purpose of having a safe and comfortable bed to sleep.

I stayed for four nights and it was kinda ok, but not worth it. I disagree though that it is a hostel as there are several people living there. Also be aware the house smells constantly like a stoner house. Nice people but the bunk bed mattresses are completely worn down and uncomfortable bearly sleepable. The desk chairs are mostly broken, there's no heating. It got pretty chilli in the living room when it was a cloudy, windy day. The hostle is not worth the money in my eyes. Manager does a great job and tries hard though.

Harley Davidson approved. Cross country motorcycle traveler. Stayed here a few different times passing through sf. Don’t expect much, but worth the stay. Hostel is in a safe quiet residential neighborhood near the city (15min downtown). I felt secure and safe which is more important in sf than downtown options. Cheap dorm style sleepzz, with clean sheetz that you can’t beatz. Kitchen available for use, but gets busy at mealtimes. On site Manager, Fatu is a awesome and helpful person. Back patio is a cool chill area to smoke weed and relax. Wifi good.

I stayed at this hostel not knowing Daly City is more of a suburb of San Fran than part of the actual city. Had I known how awful Daly City is and how awful this CrashPad was, I would never have gone, but I'm from NYC and wasn't familiar with using hostels or the Bay Area and I was on a budget. The bathroom has water damage everywhere. The door is warped, there is rust everywhere. I felt like I needed to shower after my shower. Disgusting. The room I stayed in had no screens in the windows and the person in the bunk of above me had shoes thay absolutely reeked. So I got mosquito bites and had to hold my breath. I got a last minute gig to work that went over on what would ultimately be the last day of my stay, when I planned to extend until the next morning, so I could go to a cleaner hostel. I've typically used AirBnB up until that point (internationally for over a decade) and one other hostel in SF (which was full or I wouldn't have gone to this gross one.) When someone stays past check-out, the courtesy is to reach out to figure things out because it could be an urgent situation or perhaps a guest was delayed, etc. Essentially, have a human conversation about a situation that has solutions, aka customer service. When I got back to the hostel that evening, ready to pay and stay overnight since the Hostelworld & Expedia sites said this place had availability, I found my stuff had been removed from the room without a heads up. I frantically looked for the manager of this place and asked where my things were. Fatu was in a rage. I explained the situation and since I'd been there a couple of days didn't understand his affect. He proceeded to yell when I told him he was being irrational and disrespectful (in front of other male guests who did nothing but watch) and then proceeded to throw my things on the dark, creepy suburban street outside of his gross hostel then slam the garage door to head inside in a grown man tantrum. Since I had been travelling around SF, now hyperpoliced, eerily quiet & full of nosy & suspicious gentrifiers, this behavior wasn't totally surprising. Neither was men watching a paid professional disrespect a Black femme patron and say nothing. But even for SF, this was a lot. Go to this hostel if you must, but if you are a Black femme or someone who likes toilet paper in bathrooms & managers who don't spontaneously unravel with impunity, steer clear. I reached out to Hostelworld and they took his side. SF is awesome.

Excellent Location!! I think Fatu was the guy in charge of the house when I came to stay for 3 nights with a friend! I just wanted to give a big Shout-out to Fatu! He was extremely pleasant to work with, the prices given were awesome! He explained everything we needed to know! Thank you so much to the owners and to Fatu for an excellent service!! Will be back! Thanks for the awesome vibes!!! P.S. I love the backyard, place to chill, the ground has sand so it's beachy! 😊

This place is weird as hell, it is difficult to describe how disgusting and strange the 20 minutes I spent here were. Do not go here, safety risk in my opinion. I didn’t even realize what kind of neighborhood Daly city is until I got there. I did not feel safe, do your research. No refunds if you don’t like it either.

Great place to meet new people from all over the world while visiting San Francisco. The bus stop is a minute walk. Grocery and food are near, and the people are friendly.

Had a very good stay for the past week. Staff was amazing quarters always clean. Breakfast available in a timely manner. Other guests were also very friendly and easy to get along with. Availability to book wasn't a hassle. Access to nearby stores and restaurants is perfect. Overall experience was a 10/10. P. S. Very affordable rates couldn't ask for another more.
